A tour of the graphite mine 70 m below the surface offers a demonstration of mining and a ride on a mine train. Before you set off on the tour itself, you will be equipped with special clothing, including a miner's lamp. You will then be taken underground by a mine train, which was once used by miners to travel to their shifts.
The history of graphite mines in the Český Krumlov region dates back to the mid-18th century. In one of them, a two-kilometer tour circuit was created at a depth of 70 m below the surface, and it has been open to the public again since May 1, 2008. About 1,5 kmes are covered by a mine train, and the rest of the route, where visitors can see practical demonstrations of mining activities accompanied by commentary, is covered on foot. The expedition under Český Krumlov and its surroundings takes more than an hour.
A new forest town with lots of play elements showcases the beauty and diversity of the Šumava Forest.
The Czech Repubrick exhibition is the largest Czech world made of LEGO® bricks. In one place, in Lipno nad Vltavou, you can visit the National Museum, Karlštejn Castle, or St. Vitus Cathedral. You can peek into a space station, spin a Ferris wheel, become a train conductor, or a lighting technician at a rock concert.
On an area of 2,000 m², you will find more than 40 giant structures crafted down to the smallest detail. Famous Czech monuments, life-size movie heroes, remote-controlled technical models, and a flood of bricks to play with await you.
The exhibition includes a shop selling LEGO® building sets and a stand offering light refreshments.
Are you brave enough to set out from Krumlov on a day-long trip for real water sports enthusiasts along the most popular section of the Vltava River?
The route starts below the dam in Vyšší Brod and continues to Rožmberk and Český Krumlov. During the trip, you will pass a total of 9 weirs and after about 6 to 8 hours you will reach your destination, where the rental company will pick you up at the agreed time or after you call them. We recommend anchoring after passing through Krumlov (e.g. at Kemp Krumlov) so that you don't miss anything. In Krumlov alone, you will pass another 4 weirs and see the most beautiful part of the town from the river. You will not go hungry or thirsty on this long trip, as there are plenty of places to refresh yourself along the way.

The Lipno Lake Cycle Trail is suitable for families with children, and the Frymburk – Lipno (dam) – Přední Výtoň section is completely free of road traffic. The trip can also be taken as a round trip if you continue from Přední Výtoň to Frýdava along a road with minimal car traffic and then take the ferry to Frymburk. This will take you almost exactly the distance of a half marathon – 21 km, which is traditionally run and skated on this route. There are refreshment options and children's playgrounds along the route.
